Since the date has been extended, I may wait a little longer than tomorrow (when i was going to take my package to the p.o.) depending on how tonight goes. But i thought it would be fun to post something that Prickly Venus is NOT getting. (ie. was ruined).

here is one of those melted bead bowls. It was something she mentioned interest in, and also something that i have never made. It started out as a plate, then a bowl with too-big sides, then a charred bowl-shaped black thing, and after trying to re-melt it, cut the sides while in the oven, ruin a pan by baking plastic to it...it is now bunnies new treat dish!

bunny inspecting.
bunny testing out her new stuffs
The bag of excess plastic the was removed then scraped off the pan.

Sorry, Prickly...but at least bunny is happy!
What we have learned: Don't take an open flame to plastic in attempts to remove the excess.

p.s. Yes, she is a bunny and her name is bunny.

Your bunny looks just like mine used too!  Be careful with the plastic though, my rabbit ate everything that was plastic, including all the hands and feet of my barbie dolls.

originally it was one layer of the plastic pony beads in similar colors(i chose mostly cool colors as you can see) put it in a pot and the bottom was full. Put in the oven on 425, it was recommended 20 min but it ended up being maybe 45-50 min before i was satisfied. then turned the plate shaped thing upsidedown over a small metal bowl (after i cooled) and melted again in the over, same temp, but prolly for like 20 min. If you want to cut down all the lighter, burning, and messy parts, i just cut a ring around the bowl while it was upsidedown in the over with a butter knife and removed it when it was cool.

i dont think she will eat it, especially if there are treats in it instead!

I love the little mini green mittens.  They are my favorite.  Green is my favorite color.
