I bought "The Cute Book" and after sewing a few patterns, I decided to try doing something free hand.

This is one of many small gifts for the best friend for Christmas. She's a dental asst.
I sharpied the face but that didn't work out so well. It's lite and it pulled starnds of felt as I was writing.

I don't want to give her up. I'm proud of this little one.

I love it!!!  you could freehand stitch over the sharpie lines with black embroidery cotton...
