My husband was asking for a shirt of our dog and some designs he had worked up.  We are from Guam and proud of that, so we always try to implement something from the island in his designs.  I have done inkjets, but this was our first time with screen printing.  We bought the 2 Speedball kits (one for light and one for dark) at HobbyLobby with a 40% off coupon as well as an extra screen.  It was a 2 day process, first day was prepping the screens with emulsion and burning the image, day 2 was for actual printing.
There are a total of 3 images on his shirt.  The Guam Seal in black on the right sleeve, small Pika symbol in black on left chest, Large Pika symbol on back in red.
Oh, Pika is our dog and she is the face we used.

Front of shirt

Close up of the large design on back

Close up of small design on chest

You can see that this was the first image we printed as the bottom of the design is spotted.  I figured out the pressure as I went.

Nicely done.  The dog symbol is very professional, and looks great.

I have developed a fondness for pitties and Saffordshires since we got our first Staffordshire mix, Ginger.  They have gotten a bad rap in our province (mainly because the government was looking for a scapegoat to take attention away from the fact that they did nothing about any of their election promises at the time), and pitties and dogs like them need better PR.

Here is my baby girl - we left her tail undocked, and her ears natural:

What a beautiful dog! She makes a great logo. We have a labrador-pit mix. His name is Bud.

what a great shirt! I bet that each pit bull owner would be proud to have one!  Smiley
And your shirt inspired me to think about a stencil image with my dog! Also a pit bull  Grin Unfortunately the region where I live is also not very pitbull-friendly  Cry maybe it could be a way to attract the people's attention to this problem...

and by the way, here is my darling =)

Excuse me while I gush like an idiot over the three dogs.

Lookit your ears!  Whoza a floppy-eared puppy?  YOUZA a floppy-eared puppy!  You are SO PRETTY, yes you are! *disintegrates into babble*

And now I shall gush like an idiot over Pika, so she doesn't feel left out!
Whoza a serious pretty puppy?  YOUZA serious pretty puppy!  Give me a kiss!  Mwah! *disintegrates into babble*

Ahem.  Carry on with your lives.  Grin

Oh I love it!  We have a blue pitt mix, Connor, and I am constantly trying to take a good picture of him to make into a stencil .. so far, no luck, or maybe my stencil making abilities just lack Tongue

I have been wanting to try screenprinting  was it hard? Your dog is very pretty. I have never met a pit bull I didn't like! They are naturally sweet natured, I am an Akita Mom though. I have never had any other breed, Akitas  get a bad rap too.
