Noticeable results with Etsy Mini!

Ok, first of all - how do you spell that word??? Noticeable?? Noticable??

Anyway...

By noticeable, that doesn't mean a sale YET but, at this point, I want to make note of ANYTHING positive!  And, also, hopefully help give you guys an idea of something else to do for more exposure.  Now, I know that some of you have already done this but I would guess that some haven't -

I put an Etsy Mini on my myspace profile!!  I had heard it mentioned a few times but it hadn't sunk in (there are sooo many things about etsy that they seem to sink in slowly, one at a time).

Well, I decided to make note of the number of views of my items.  For the last 3 days or so, I hadn't seen any change in the number but after I put the Etsy Mini on myspace, the numbers have gone up on almost all of my items!!  I thought that was pretty cool! 

Like I said - no sales yet but it's still encouraging to see that something worked!  I think it'll spur me on to continue solving my broken camera issue so I can get some decent pictures of my new items and get them posted!

I tried to find some info on the etsy forums about how the etsy mini thing works but I couldn't seem to find anything but it's pretty self explanatory.  on 'your etsy' page, go to the bottom left, under "view shop" you'll see "etsy mini".  Click on it and you should be able to figure it out.

Let's see what results you get!!

I don't suppose it works quite as well when your myspace is set to private?  My friends already know about my shop, and they never go there.

I just noticed today that my etsy mini updated itself on my myspace without my having to update it...pretty nifty.

I have an etsy mini on my blog.  I still haven't sold anything, but I think only crafty people read my blog and they can make the things I sell.    

Why does etsy have such strange names for things?  "Storque" sounds like a shop for pregnant women...  Etsy mini sounds like a specialty shop or something

There's also an etsy mini blog now (unsure of the web address could someone post it?) where you can submit a mini to a category and they will post it on the blog.
