My box of goodies is on the way to knitkitty in Australia!

One question:  what's the protocol for leftover supplies?  I told knitkitty to keep mine, but I'm wondering if people send them back or keep them.

I can't wait to get my supplies from Hawaiilove!

There wasn't really a set protocol, you can do what you like, but I think for the last swap, most of us told our partners to keep whatever they didn't use.  Basically, you should feel free to make however many things you're inspired to make, using as much of the supplies as you can manage.  Sometimes you won't use all of it and sometimes you'll add your own stuff to it.

My supplies are on route to Lilmissdogooder as of today...usually takes 6 or so business days so she should have it by early next week. I mentioned in my note to keep any leftovers...

ChtzpahGrrl ,
I sent supplies last week, with some velvet fabric included. If you make something keep the left overs if not please send it back (I want to make something out of it). I sent random stuff, I hope you can make something out of it.

Everyone, remember to send me DC# when you mail out supplies.  If you sent to someone overseas, there will not be a DC#, but please PM me to let me know you mailed it.  Thanks!

Supplies should be mailed out no later than Wednesday, the 19th, but if for some reason you will be late, just PM me and let me know.  It's never a problem, as long as you keep me informed.

I hope not to be late, but my new job is still kicking my butt, and I forgot about this and let it slide until the last minute.  Tongue  I will do it as soon as I can, though.

On a small tangent, I feel so sad for you, mthompson828!  Fellow craftistas, what do you think about sending a care package of extra or leftover supplies to her? (Sort of like your own personal miniature tsunami relief, to make a dark joke.)  I was unemployed myself until recently, and it sucks to not be able to get stuff to work with, and losing stuff you've collected is even worse.  You can decline this if you want - maybe you don't want to take the risk of whatever random stuff might get sent! - or you could post the kinds of things you like to do, and then if any of us have extra unused stuff for that and want to send, we could.  We'd also have to find a way to distribute your address without posting it publicly; maybe if you want to do this, we could write Melinda and she could forward your address to whoever's interested.

What do you think?

Wow that would be amazing!  I dabble in a little bit of everything; the boxes I lost were fabric, papercrafty stuff, beads, and yarn I think.  It is such a sad thing to see your boxes float by in a sea of, well, yuck.  Anyway, I would have no problem with Melinda distributing my address for this.  What can I do for you guys in return?
