The reason why.

My brother got married on November 10.  Their wedding had a fall theme to it, so their colors were ivory, brown, and "Texas" orange (think rust or pumpkin pie).

I made two identical flower girl baskets for my girls to carry in the wedding.  My new sister-in-law bought all the supplies (except the ivory fabric, which was from the dresses I made the girls), so I looked at what she had and put these together.

I think they turned out pretty good.  Sweet and simple, perhaps a bit elegant.  Since this was my first attempt at such a project, I'm proud of myself.  I love glue guns!

I know a little garden close
Set thick with Lily and red Rose
Where I would wander if I might
From dewy dawn to dewy night.

i am getting married next october and those are my colors too! Smiley  i've actually been looking for something to use for flower girl baskets because i hate the white goofy-shaped ones they sell in all the bridal stuff.  your's are super cute. i may have to look into doing something like that.
