I was inspired by burstandbloom's advent calendar so with lots of help from skelectica I made my own!

**EDIT** Inside everyday is a peice of our favorite chocolate and about half the days have a little something extra. I made coupons for dinner out, game nights, etc. and he's also got a video game and a scarf, which are wrapped individually and sitting outside the calendar with the right date on them. Thanks for all the great comments!

What sort of treats did you put inside?
My sister and I bought the chocolate ones this year- I am very excited about opening them.

I dream of a house covered with your art, and would love a personal swap. Pm me if you'd like to spread the crafty love! I also need blue fabric scraps for a scrap quilt!

we used to get advent calendars for christmas from my cousin in Denmark.  Now that my children know who Santa is, I started giving them Advent calendars to still keep christmas special somehow.  We wrap small gifts, and some big, so they can open one gift a day during December up to Christmas.

It came out very well!  I didn't even want to tackle making that one because of all the cutting of Styrofoam!
