This is my first time using a pattern and I had no problems with the skirt portion. I am however confused about the skirt waistband. I've checked the directions that came with it but they aren't very helpful. I need to trace/cut out a size 10 but on one side of the waistband pattern there are dashed and solid lines. So there are two lines for every size, I'm not sure which line I need. If I need both what does the solid vs dashed line mean.

I've included a link to a picture of the waistband pattern. This is my first time posting so I'm not sure if I'm posting the link right.

Thanks for any and all help
