This is my first posted project and first proper arigurumi project.

I tried my hand at amigurumi for the first time earlier in the week, and came up with this little guy



I call him my weetabix tooth because he is tooth shaped and reminds me of weetabix somewhat.
I adapted it from this pattern:

I think your hippo thing is lovely! A word of warning, though - if it's for a newborn, you might want to replace the button eyes with embroidery; bit of a choking hazard. Unless you meant it as a display piece - if so, then never mind me!

They're not button eyes, they're those posh teddy bear eyes with washers at the back so that they won't come off. But yeah I was as cautious as you until the woman in the shop told me that they couldn't and wouldn't come off.
