While waiting for the turkey at my brother's, I finished the binding on this little quilt.  It measures apx. 11" x 11" - I started it when my daughter was 3 - she's now 16!!!  (I have a lot of UFO's).

It's really easy to make.  I pieced it using a paper foundation and lots of left over scraps.  It only took me so long because I was contemplating a Christmas sampler quilt - after 13years, I decided the sampler either wasn't happening, or I could do another block!  Actually, I was looking for a small project I could quilt on the go while waiting at the doctors, voice lessons, etc. and this block fit the bill. 
I am almost done quilting a small heart quilt that was going to be a pillow, and is now a take-along quilt project.
