Here is the tutorial to the rectangular box envelopes. These are great for little items. I use these to send out the products I sell. This can be easily customized to fit any size item you want.
You'll need:
Paper - I use 12x12 scrap book paper just as long as it's 6 inches wide and 6.25 long
glue stick
ruler
pencil
scissors
step 1
Get 12x12 scrapbook paper or paper of your liking.

step 2
Cut paper in half so you have 2 sheets of 12x6 paper.

step3
measure 1.75 on each side (width wise) and mark off. Draw a line length wise down the paper at each 1.75 mark.

step 4
measure length wise from top 1.25 and draw a line width wise across paper.

step 5
from your previous line measure down length wise .25 and draw a line width wise across.

step 6
measure .25 on the outsides of the long lines drawn length wise and draw 2 lines down the paper length wise

step 7
measure 2.25 down from the 2nd line from the top of the page, mark off and draw a line width wise.

step 8
measure down .25 from last line made, mark off and draw a line widith wise.

step 9
measure down 2.25 from last line made, mark off and draw a line width wise.

this is what you will have on your paper. I labeled what will be what on the envelope box.

step 10
start to cut just look at the pictures I can't really explain

this is what it will look like after you cut and I have labeled what will be what of the envelope box.

step 11
fold along the lines that are drawn, just fold towards you it's easier that way.

for me it's easier on the second line to fold down on my nail. It's much easier to fold and faster.

and here it is all folded next to glueing!

step 12
Turn over you piece making sure you have the top at the top etc. Put glue on the sides but not on the .25 piece on the sides. Make sure to get glue all over, to the very edge of the paper and the .25 strips.

step 13
turn over and close the two sides on one another.

step 14
fold up the bottom to lay on the side with the glue on them. gently start to press down to get it all flat.

Make sure to line up the side of the bottom with the edge of the sides.

make sure to press on the inside to get it all flat inside and then retouch the sides to make sure it is all nice and flat and glued.

step 15
You are done now just trim off any access paper sticking out. Seal your envelope with a sticker or make some envelope glue!

How to customize.
I'm going to try to explain how to customize to your personal side. I'm bad at explaining so I'm sorry ahead of time if it makes no sense.
1. Measure the width and length of the object you are making the envelope for. Add a bit to the length and width to give it some room to slip it. this is going to be the back and bottom size of your envelope box write it down. Also measure how thick your object is and that is going to replace the .25 all around.
2. the top flap of the envelope box is half of the length you measured or shorter.
3. the sides are half of the width you measured but then add .25
And that should make your envelope box fit what you need it to.
Now go have fun
