Here's my latest "Jordy" plus a little pouch thing.

The red fabric drove me crazy!!!  It frays and fuzzes so easily, any one have any tips to work it better?

That's gorgeous!  I love the matching wallet.  Is the red fabric a brocade?  Grin

Thanks for the compliment!  I think the fabric is a brocade, not for sure!  It was in a grouping of other "asian" looking fabrics . . .

This is my all time favourite Jordy.  I totally love it.  Is vinyl easy to sew?  Do you need special needles for the sewing machine or anything?  Did you actually turn it inside out!!!  I can't imagine that being possible with vinyl.

You did such a nice job with this bag.  I really like the beaded?? trim as well.  I have pink asian style fabric of a similar type I am using for my next Jordy.  It frays like crazy so I am planning to use iron on interfacing or viliesofix to stabilise it first.

some tips for fabric that frays:
use pinking shears.
interface it with iron on interfacing before you cut it out.
try a little fray-stop.
baste your seams before you sew.
sew with a bigger seam allowance.
curse alot.

Hahaha, I tend to do that often, especially when I'm over-tired and cranky.
