I absolutely love this!!!

I actually have a question, too...
My brother works as pit crew for Sebastian Bourdais in the Champ Car World Series.

Sebastian is actually going to Formula 1 now but I believe my brother is not planning on going with him.... do you think the hat would fit the helmets for the pit crew?

He's one of the ones wearing the rounded helmets, not the pointed ones.

could you also give me the gauge you used?
Any help is appreciated!.... My brother would go nuts for this!

Thanks - and well knit, by the way!

Wow! Your bro would definitely love one of them!

I didn't use a gauge. I don't think it would matter as long as it makes a tight knit. And I think using the helmet for measurements is the most important. Sorry I can't be of anymore help. Good luck making it and I would definitely love to see your finished hat!

LOL, would he wear red? and may be you can decorate the bike into ring deer too!

anyways, yes, safety first, I worry the hat or the beard will fly or move and get into the way of 'view'.

James and his friends are going to have tinsel and fairy lights on their bikes! They normally have a huge Santa sack at the back of the bike, filled with toys. They are also thinking of wearing Santa suits over their motorbike gear. The police gave them the go-ahead so it sure will be funny!!!
