Santa Helmet Ho Ho Ho! - Updated Pattern Link 24/12/07

This is my most satisfying knit I've made so far. I didn't have a pattern to work from and I only had the helmet for 2 days to work with. It turned out very good and James, my bro-in-law, loves it! We were all cracking up cos he looked like he had an enormous head! 

Every year, he goes on Xmas charity runs with other bikies to distribute toys to sick children. I think he is going to get a lot of attention this year!

I've made this hat as tightly fitting to the helmet as possible and I've added non-slip rubber backing along the rim and the beard. He will be adding velcro to the helmet to make sure it doesn't slide off when he rides. Safety first!
