I *just* bought crochet hooks and yarn today. After the first go around with a practice scarf, this is next!

I have told myself for a couple of weeks that fingerless gloves were my next project -- I am going to work on a version of these

http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=204696.0

-- to wear at my desk when the office is cold.

I just started some of these today! Actually I think I ripped out about 2 or 3 versions, and finally am going to try to stick with this. I've been trying to finish my postsecret cards for that swap and do some other things around the house tonight, so I am not very far yet. And like someone else, I am pattern challened, so I am just winging it!

Heres my progress pic!:

I am kind of hating this yarn, it is cheap and thin and slippery...LoL...ha rd to work with...but I like the soft pink color, so for now I will stick with it.

I am going to give this a try. It's been a long time since the last time I did any crochet though.  Wink

I will get some yarn tomorrow.

I like the color, it is a really dark brown or is it black with flash from the camera? They fit nicely, it's a great length.

They are black, but now that you say that - I want brown ones.... lol

Finished the first glove last night.  They are for indoors (when my office is cold but I still need to use the keyboard) so made them of baby yarn and in a lacy stitch.

One more to go - and will be replacing the navy ribbon with black once I get some.
