I wanted to make a hat and scarf set, since I usually just make one or the other.  I had 2 skeins of random mottled goodness, and even with this made, I still have about 3/4 of a skein (I bought them at a lys, so am not certain after all this time what brand it was).  I actually crocheted out from the base chain on each side of the scarf, so it wouldn't curl, or have one side that wasn't as springy.  Now, it kind of flares the tiniest bit on either side.  And is HUGE!

what you should do is make a hat with a scarf attached at the nape of the neck.

you'd always know where your hat AND matching scarf are. <3!

you're right!  That's on my list of things to work on...after all the other WIPs I have get done!  Well, okay, most of them...
