I wanted to make a simple lace scarf that wouldn't require me to count or look at a pattern while I was working on it. I started it in the spring, abandoned it for the summer and recently decided to finish it.  Please ignore the goofy face I'm making... my husband always takes pictures when I'm not ready.

This is the pattern:

1 ball of Crystal Palace Kid Merino
US 11 needles

cast on 30 sts

k in garter stitch for 4 inches

switch to brioche rib: k1, k the st below the 1 on the needle dropping st off left needle as usual *repeat to last 2 st, k2

continue in brioche rib for 50 inches

k in garter stitch for 4 inches

bind off

After blocking, the scarf measures about 66" x 8.5"

That is SO beautiful! What a clever idea! Thanks for the pattern ... I think I have some yarn just aching to be made up into that pattern!
