I think pickled things+creamcheese+lunchmeat=yumminess on a toothpick.
I had something similar at a baby shower the other day, but they were pepperchinis, cream cheese and salami. The tart pepperchini cuts the greasy salami perfectly! Mmm this pickled thing seems genious!

I love these.  We call them beef pickles, because we use the Carl Buddig beef.  We like to have them at every family event, and they usually don't make it to the plate.  Smiley

My mom also makes this other awesome retro appetizer.  Get a loaf of cocktail rye bread.  Ours is in the deli section, it's a tiny square loaf of bread with slices that are maybe two inches across.  Spread those with Cheez Whiz, then top with sliced green olives.  Delicious.  Too bad we don't have that one as often since it's more labor intensive. Sad
