I recieved another card (5 more to go still)

"It will never be me.  Love, peace, contentment, happiness,... just mediocrity!"

To the sender, I'm sorry you feel this way, it made me really sad, and for the record I think you're special.  BTW though the cheery Christmas paper made me giggle uncontrolably given the seriousness of this card...

Got another one today... I should only have a few more coming at this point, I'll have to add them up in a little while.  This one is lovely.

The text got glared out, but it was the only one where the picture really showed up.  It says, "I think I'm desperate for human touch."  Boy, do I know that feeling.  I tend to get involved with friends that I only interact with intellectually, and I don't really notice how much I miss just little affectionate touches until I stop to think about it.  I hope that this works out soon.  Sad

Camel crickets:  I don't mind bugs, but I agree they are creepy.  My housemates and I call them sprickets, because they look like spiders until you look closely.  Hopefully it's getting too cold for them where you are too!

umm, i'm terrified of crickets.  they're sprinters and clingers.  period.  and they don't just run away when they see you and sense danger.  they have to panic and just GO.  can't they plan a little better and move in the opposite direction of me???  thank heavens i don't live anywhere near camel crickets and if you tell me where they are, i'll be sure to take that city off the list of future places to consider moving to.  i could go on and on about my terri-fear of crickets, but it's giving me cramps.  i thought only my best friend *got it*, but i see that we have soul sisters (and a soul sister's son) out there among us.  :security:

I think these might be my last two.  Cry

I'm so sad I won't be getting more. I got some really great cards. Thank you to everyone for making this such a great swap. I hope there's still a million more cards to be posted.

Oh, btw, I stepped on a cricket a few days ago, BAREFOOT. It made an awful popping noise and I screamed and jumped in the shower to wash my feet. yick.

I would have the same reaction! I had a beetle fly and hit me so fast and then hit the wall i was next to and back at me again where it landed on my shoulder. I FREAKED OUT cuz i thought it was like a bee or something, and since i knew it was on my shoulder and there was noone near by to confirm that it wasn't a bee i walked so stiffly to the nearest mirror before i allowed myself to sufficiently scream and freak out

I got another today!

I know my pens are my best friends at work... every paper on my desk has little drawings and doodles on it!

I'm not a woman, I'm a force of nature.

I must have spent too much time at the winter postcard gallery... When I first saw the pen postcard, I saw two gingerbread cookies hugging with a banner over the top with words...   I love writing utensils, too. I used to buy different colored pencils when I was in college to make taking notes more interesting (the doodles in the margins were much more colorful).  Smiley  I think I'd like colored pens, too, if only the other people in my house didn't always run off with them.  Roll Eyes

Where did all this fabric come from? I CAN'T have bought THAT much!

Yep, I do the same thing with pens. I love my gel pens, they come in so many different colors. It also makes it more interesting when studying for finals  Roll Eyes (As I should be doing now)

I really hope that there's a round 3 of this, I would love to do it!
