I only started wearing my glasses when I accidentally shaved off half my eyebrow.

This card really made me laugh!  I hope your eyebrow is back now! Haha.

Thank you all for sharing your great secrets with me.

ok i'm sorry this card made me laugh! I thought it was just soo funny. It sort of reminded me of when my best friend pulled out all her eyelashes while curling them, (long story basically she got scared while holding the curler down and pulled her arm hard taking half her eyelashes with them) and suddenly stopped wearing mascara and wearing her glasses much more often.  Personally i only started wearing glasses once i found a pair that i thought made me look smart and not like a nerd.

Don't know how to drive:  I didn't get my license until I was pushing 20.  I never had a big urge to drive.

Shiloh:  I have never been on the Brad Pitt bandwagon, so I would vote for your daughter, too!

Ongioing swaps:  I have never tried an ongoing one because I was afraid of that.

The other woman:  I don't know what the situation is, but I hope you can work it out.

Drinking and driving:  That's a hard one.  You don't wish death on anyone, but without it, there wouldn't be you and that is a good thing!

Happiness:  Sometimes there is just something intangible missing, like being in a rut?

Mutual loneliness:  I hope that something changes for you soon.

Always a burden:  I am willing to bet that you are harder on yourself than anyone else is.  The people that love you would never consider you a burden.

Good mother:  I think everyone worries about that before it happens, and then you just do the best you can.

Little sister:  I think it is great that you care so much.  And because you do, you will see things that others might not.

Stealing handwriting:  I don't steal writing, but I take accents and phrases.

Cheating on math:  I can relate to that!

Don't understand eachother:  I think that is such a universal thing.  I know I have been in that situation!!

Unfinished:  I think we all feel that way at some point.  Maybe trying something new?

Dead:  Wow, fabulous mother.  I hope that you are okay, despite that!

Sticks and stones:  My old barracks room mate and I had a slightly more perverse version of this one that we used to say!

Eyebrow:  Well, wearing glasses is a unique solution!  LOL!  Smiley

Two more today!!

"We only look like the perfect couple.  He's a 2 time felon with a drinking problem.  And I'm not happy."
We have alcoholism in our family, too, so I know hard it is.  I hope that you can find happiness,... with or without him.  Hugs to you!

"I have so many aspirations, I'm afraid I'll never know what to do with my life!"
I SO get this!  And I bet you will be successful at everything and anything you do!

Thank you so much for sharing.

I think when this is over, I am going to make a scrapbook of all the secrets I have gotten.  I have really enjoyed this swap.

I only started wearing my glasses when I accidentally shaved off half my eyebrow.

Good solution. I accidentally shaved off half of mine, and I put a bandaid over it..

@ the failed gardener: I don't think this has any reflection on your ability to be a mother. I know a lot of good mothers that can't garden...

And I know some great gardeners who can't mother!  One is not necessarily proof of the other (or disproof)

Watering your plants:  No worries!  I can't keep a plant alive but I have 4 healthy and happy boys!!

Santa:  I do, too, in some ways!  And why shouldn't we?!

Clocks:  I don't know what it is about, but I love the pics!

Bad relationships:  I know EXACTLY what you mean!  I finally let it all hang out so they knew I got it.

New people:  I can understand that.  Sometimes trust is an issue for me.

The biggest difference between plants and babies is tht babies let you know vocally when you need to do something.  I'm an awful gardener (I frequently claim to either have a brown or a black thumb),  but I have four kids, and the older ones seem fairly well adjusted and mature  compared to their classmates.

I received 2 yesterday.

"I'm not supposed to know she had an abortion. She had it the day I had my daughter.
I'm pro-choice... but it still bothers me."
I am sorry about this.

"I am failing most of my classes at school because I don't go to class. There's a big chance I'm going to lose my scholarship and I really don't care that much. Does this make me a bad person?"
IMHO you should think about what makes you happy and how you see yourself in the future. some people are not cut out to go to college. others just need a break. Figure out what you want to do and good luck with which ever choice you make!

Thanks for the secrets!
