Any chance of getting someone to translate the French parts? I took Russian in college, and the French speaking teens are in bed.

my broken french/google translater gave me
"my life has been a series of successes until now. I am afraid that it just stopped."

Okay, google wasn't too far off.  None of those services will translate this correctly because the tenses are off, so I will do my best:

"My life hasn't been a series of successes until today.  I am afraid of it coming to stop itsself"

I had to fill in some of the gaps in there, but it should be something more along the lines of this (sorry if it's not perfect, I only minored in French)

"Ma n'etait pas une serie de success jusqu'a aujourd'hui.  J'ai peur qu'il finira" (My life hasn't been a series of successes until today.  I am afraid that it will end)

I apologize if I mangled the secret senders intentions or hurt their feelings, but I am kind of a grammar nazi, even in French.  (Watch, I was gramatically incorrect in both my French and English in this post.  Oh well.)

I don't think the sender wrote the french, since there's the english part that says "I look at French postsecret in public places so people will think I speak French". It looks like they just took it from French postsecret.

Just saw the card and call for translation and thought I'd pitch in.  If the card is just copied from a book, ok then.  If it is someone's personal secret, I didn't want them to feel bad about me correcting them.  J'ai dit toute la chose que je dirai de la carte.

Get some more cards, people, I want to read more secrets!  I'm already cooking up some for the next round

yeah, but I don't see how your translation could upset them since they didn't make up the french part...  Cheesy

I'd like to comment on a few:

The housework one - I feel you!  I work longer hours (with my commute) than my boyfriend, but I always feel guilty for neglecting housework - then I over thank him when he does any.

The my life as a movie one - I make a sound track of my life for my journal, every entry has a song to go with it.  One day, I'll read it while listening to my "sound track"!

as for the movie one...i totally agree...my whole life has a soundtrack

and now the two  received but couldnt find my camera(damn messy dorms)

(sorry i couldn't get a better picture)

The text reads: When people tell me that they hunt "for sport". I assume they are not very intelligent

The back reads: i live in a rural area where "doe day" is a legitimate school holiday. I'm so tired of hearing everyone talk about hunting!

Thank you so much for sharing that with me and i totally agree with you...

and the second one:

the text reads: i wish i had been born a japanese girl-i hate being white

Thank you for sharing with me

Thanks for the translations! I was fairly sure that they weren't particularly related to the card, but I was curious anyway.  Smiley

Yes, I meant my two children who are taking French were in bed, and unable to translate.

Lots of cards posted while I was sleeping!
