I made this tabard for my consort (I am a member of the society of creative anachronism) this is a picture of me displaying it at show and tell.

It won first prize in an exhibition. Its made of red and blue velvet with both of our coats of arms appliqued on, I have used velvet for the designs as much as possible, it is the same on the front and the back, there are little cap sleeves, that also have the heraldry on each.

It took hours and hours and hours to make, but the effect is well worth it, it looks great on the field.

I find I relate more to Max & Ruby as I get older.

Hooray hooray for the SCA!!! Grin

Everything I've made and had made for me for here in the Greater Kingdom of thelmearc, and I've never gotten around to posting pics.

Your tabard is beautiful, and you should be proud, for all those hours and hours were truly well worth it!

Beware: Someone pretentious is looking back at you.

I just got sidetracked for an hour on the SCA website and funnily enough I fall under the kingdom of thelmearc... I'm actually quite interested in getting involved as I have a lot of free time on my hands now... so you might see me around?
