Doesn't look that hard - basic helmut hat plus a mustache.  Almost makes me want to purchase 2 flat ones and a packet of gravel.

YES!  My best friend (a Muggle, no less!) showed that to me last week.  This came hot on the heels of my knitted moustache for my German class.  It was part of a classmate's costume for our skit.  He was playing Nietzsche.  Cheesy

i'm currently working on one of these for a friend. ive gotten the hat part down and i'm on to the mustache. does anyone have any ideas for knitting a mustache?? i googled it and almost thought google was going to laugh back at me. basically all the results i got were this hat. hah. so yeah, any help would be greatly appreciated. did i mention i'll be posting the whole pattern when its done?! Smiley theres an incentive

ps the first version of the hat is on my blog but ive fixed some problems with it since then
