You are a skilled crocheter!  Shocked
I really want to try to do that hat.
Thank you for the instructions and the video too. I'll need it.
It's so fun to learn new things. It's worth the hard work and often poor result.

For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;your works are wonderful, I know that full well.

your hat looks great! i can't believe you wrote the pattern yourself! this *rocks*! btw, what kind of yarn did you use?
It's some really old acrylic I was given that was manufactured by Kmart (seriously) surprisingly enough for it's age it's quite nice, reminds me of simply soft with a little less sheen, but definitely better than Super Saver. There's a price tag on it that says 2/99cents  Shocked
Thanks so much everyone! I'm glad everyone likes the hat as much as me  Grin Especially since there were several times I almost just pulled it out and gave up.

This is so great! I've been crocheting and knitting for years, love doing cables in both, but I can't for the life of me figure out dpns!  Grin Love cabled hats! Crocheted cabled hats are even better! (Probably much warmer, too!)

wow i totally thought this was knitted at first! great job!

i just finished a cabled hat myself but knitted. i used circular needles (interchangeables) and when i had to decrease, i used magic loop. i would use dpns but since i dont have dpns of every size, i had to make do with what i had. magic loop isnt the greatest but it gets the job done.
