I have had a few people asking about the neckwarmer I designed for a swap awhile ago - and I am ashamed that it has taken me this long to post up the pattern!
With the cold weather hitting a lot of us - this is a quick project and it really does look sharp when you are done!


Here it is!
Please post up pics when you finished yours!  I love to see what everyone does!eek.

I just noticed I don't have the gauge written down!  I do plan on making one for myself in the next week or two so I will post up the finished measurements and a gauge for it after I make another one.  I do crochet fairly tight as a heads up - so if you can see light through your stitches, drop down a hook size  Wink

Craftydeb's Neckwarmer Pattern
Materials:
1 1/2 Oz Caron Simply Soft yarn
H hook
2 - 1 buttons
needle & thread to match yarn color

Stitch Abbreviations:
Sc = single crochet
Dc = double crochet
Ch = chain
 

Directions:

Row 1:    Ch 13, sc in 2nd ch from hook, dc in next, (sc, dc) to end.  Turn.  (12 stitches)

Row 2:   Ch 1, (sc, dc) to end.  Turn (12 stitches)

Row 3 58:  repeat row 2

Row 59: Ch 1, sc, ch 3, skip 3 stitches, (sc, dc) 2 times, ch 3, skip 3, dc in last stitch.  Turn

Row 60:  Ch 1, sc, (dc, sc, dc) in ch 3 space, (sc, dc) 2 times, (sc, dc, sc) in ch 3 space, dc in last stitch. Turn

Row 61:   Ch 1, 2 sc in first stitch, sc in next 10 stitches, 3 sc in last stitch. Do not turn, working along side sc in each ends and beginning of row, 3sc in free loop from round 1, sc in next 10 free loops, 3 sc in last, sc in each end and beginning of rows along side, sc in same as first stitch.  Finish off.

Finishing:

Weave in ends of yarn.  Sew buttons on scarf on opposite side of neckwarmer.

For some reason the picture isn't coming up - It was there when I first posted it.  I did go and try to relink the image from photobucket - but it is still being a pain in the arse.

I did add a link to the photobucket shot though. Hopefully whatever weird phototbucket glitch is going on will fix itself.
