GEEZ GUYS! you make me feel SOOOOOOOO FLIPPIN' SWEET! i'm really glad that most of this is working out for you all! 

just a few replies/etc... whatever!

when you have the little hole and you turn it right side out, i never sewed it back up! haha! i used regular old cotton fabric, and i've used that kind-of-stretchy cottonish fabric as well and i've never had any problems with disfigurations ETC! so if i were you, i'd use some kind of iron on interfacing when making it if you didn't do that.

i got my fabric at this place called "hayes sewing machine company" its in clifton heights, PA if you live anywhere near me! its kind of a hassle to get to, but its a pretty sweet place! i also think you can buy it at jo-ann, but don't trust me.

awesome tutorial, i loved it, so easy


and i altered the card holders a bit because i only have my
school i.d. to carry most of the time so i made a little
change baggy instead 

my piggy wanted to test it out because i couldnt find my i.d.

that is a good tutorial, using the pinkers on the inside bulk allowance is a good idea.

So I know it's been a while since anyone has posted on this thread, but I just got around to giving this a shot.  This is only my second "real" sweing project, and only the third thing I've ever sewed in my life... it shows, but I like it anyway.  My wife will be geeked about it.     Here goes... this is also the first project I've ever posted on here. 



So yea, there are a few flaws, but I think it came out pretty good anyway...

Thanks!  Tomorrow I'm starting a purse for her... I just wish I could come up with something that I could sew for myself, but I don't know too many guys who sew (or crochet, knit, etc) to get any ideas from.

Hey there.  What about a messenger bag?  I'm thinking about making one for my husband's birthday.  We'll see if I can find some fabric that I think he'd like!
