So I posted over on the Purse discussion board about this neat upholstery fabric I got for CHEAP.  (you can see it here:  http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=270666.0)

This is the bag I made out of one of the fabrics:

[Sorry, I'm removing my pictures - someone is making bags just like mine and selling them Sad   ]

Front:
Open:

Inside - there is a divider and pockets:
Back - I added a d-ring and finally found some sew in velcro for the pocket:

And the side:
I hope she likes it!  I have just a couple more things to do to it before it's delivered.
Comments?!

ETA:  She loved it!!!  yay!!!!!

I wish I was on your gift list  Grin. You really scored with that fabric and you did a beautiful job with this particular print. I think it looks really high-end.

That very pretty. The fabric is very rich and I love the clean lines of the bag. The bag design is a good choice for the fabric. Something complicated or with a lot of pockets and what-not would have been too much. I think it's very elegant and exotic-looking without being over-the-top.

Thanks for the nice comments, everyone!!!!

Hubby was talking to his 96 year old grandmother last night and said I was making purses, so she wants one, that is going to be my next project. Cheesy
