I pretty much just used the Amigurumi Dude Patternhttp://crochetme.com/amigurumi-dude and fixed him up with inspiration to a Robot that Beth D. had made (Gourmet Amigurumi).  Easy Smiley  He doesn't stand, though...but I did pad his buttucks with some of those clear marbles I had laying around from another project. 

I like his little orange "antennea" .  I-Cord

Originally I had accidently started him upside down...with the big round head for the body...looks cuter and more 'ami-ish' with the smaller body.  Duh!

Thanks for the sweet compliments!   My brother in law wanted one of the Jess Hutchinson's knit robots but I wasn't in the knitting mood and couldn't locate a pattern.  Maybe for his birthday.  Cool
