I got my cookies from serendipity_sarah a few days ago, and WOW!  What a delicious package!

Some chocolate haystack cookies, and some delicious chocolate chip oatmeal cookies, along with a collection of recipes and the oil to make the candy in one of them!  She also included some pot-holders, which I LOVE.  My favorite part?

Look at this hole-protector!

Thank you so much!  I would have taken pictures of the cookies themselves but they didn't last that long :X

I see my partners packages have been delivered  to their towns this morning... so hopefully that  means they will be getting them soon.

Just in case anyone doesn't know this, if you go to the USPS.com website and print out the shipping label you get free dc#  it saves you some cents.  and I would recommend using the one price priority mail boxes.  I didn't have any, and wished I did!!

I just received my cookies from cfbandit and YUM YUM is all I can say!

Marscapone Creams:

This is a great cookie, reminds my DH of Jammie Dodgers he misses from England.  (Granted this is the same DH who said "You're eating cookies from a stranger?  What if they are poisoned?"  He doesn't get any.)

Peppermint Palmiers:

The photo doesn't do them justice, I love the festive color and they taste great as well!

Thank you cfbandit!!!  This was exactly what I needed today Smiley

I'm going to post my recipes for my partner's stuff that I sent to them. Yes I was boring and sent the same things to each of them, but I find its easier to make a double batch then to make a bunch of different things. here are the recipes

 Hello Dollies
1 1/2 packages of graham crackers-crushed
8 T margarine melted
12 oz. chocolate chips
14 oz. sweetened condensed milk
3/4 cup chopped almonds or pecans
Combine the margarine and crushed graham crackers into a pliable meal. Grease the bottom of a 9x13 glass pan and press the graham cracker crust on the bottom. Pour the sweetened condensed milk over the crust covering it completely. Spread the chocolate chips and nuts over the top. Bake at 325 degrees for 20-30 minutes (can also add grated coconut on top)

Easy Peasy Fudge

1 pound Velveeta cheese
1 pound butter
1 cup of cocoa
1 tablespoon of vanilla
4 pounds of powdered sugar

Melt the Velveeta cheese and butter over a low heat. Make sure you do not burn.  Add vanilla and cocoa, mix to combine.  Slowly add powdered sugar, mix well.  Remove from heat. Pour into a greased (Pam or other spray) pan. Chill until set.  Can be wrapped and stored in freezer for many months.  I also add nuts/peanut butter/marshmallows, etc to the fudge.  When I add peanut butter I add it after I melt the Velveeta and butter, mix well until it is melted, then I add the remaining ingredients.  (Makes a bunch of fudge!)

Italian Cookies

1 cup of butter or butter flavored Crisco
5 cups of flour
5 teaspoons baking powder (make sure it fresh and not outdated)
1 cup of sugar
6 eggs
3 teaspoons of flavoring (vanilla, anise, lemon, or orange extract)

Beat eggs, add melted butter.  Add sugar, flavoring, then add baking powder and sifted flour.   Roll into walnut-sized balls. Bake at 350 degree oven for 12-15 minutes or until bottoms are slightly golden.

Icing: make a thick paste with powdered sugar and milk. Dip tops of cookies into icing and place onto cooling rack to dry. For the holidays sprinkle festive sugar or sprinkles while the icing is still wet or add food coloring to the icing.  You can add some flavoring to the icing if you want.

yay! now I don't have to type out the recipes. I hate typing an I am also no good at it. LOL

Thanks christina! Mr. kishcrafts loved the Hello Dollies and the italian cookies were a hit! not so  much on the fudge, but he is finiky when it comes to fudge, since he makes a mean batch of it, when he isn't such a lazt butt. haha I though the fudge was good and my 5 year old godson did too. He came over last night and I gave him a piece, all he could say was YUMMMMMM and he had it all over his face (that's a sign kids like something, eh?)

Thanks so much and I will post pics later today. Smiley
