Finally, my poppet Autumn

Ok so I wrote this whole posted and managed to disappear it.

Here is my poppet, Autumn.  I got the pattern for the Halloweenalong but it took me this long because I apparently have no idea what I'm doing.  First doll hehe.  It took me 6 tries to figure out eyelids, all the limbs are a little gimpy because I didn't bother looking up what a ladder stitch was until I attached the head.  I did end up attaching the hair strand by strand because it's so thick it was pretty easy that way.  And I decided with all that hair, a shirt wasn't necessary but I did want to cover up the mess I made of her butt and ladybits.
I was inspired by my own orange cat, Daniel, who I think is in lurve with his new girliekitteh.  Well here are the photos:







She looks kinda sad.  My fiance thinks she looks like a kobold or goblin and wants one of his own now.  I think she kinda looks like a Fraggle.  I love the pattern though, now that I've made one, I think any beyond will be much easier.  And I think I know how to make basic dolls now!!

Her hair is fantastic!  It reminds me of the broadway show Cats, for some reason.  I've never seen it, either.  Anyway, she's beautiful and you now know how to make way more than a basic doll!  It's quite an undertaking for a beginner.

OOO I love her, I think she is so pretty especially the hair!! Kinda reminds me of my own when I don't brush it and let it go free  . My son (1) ran over with a big smile and said "Kitty" and giggled after words. He loves these. Great Job!!
