I got a bead loom as a present from my dad... and this is the first project I did

this is bad lighting. The beads are two different shades of green. I really like the texture that a loom gives, but I'm not sure how else to connect a clasp to a loom project. I don't really like how the sides of the bracelet came out.

thanks for looking

A lot of people end a loom beaded bracelet with a button-buttonhole type closure I think they call it a "loop and bead" closure.  But I really like how you ended yours...it has some dimension to it that I think is really interesting!  Very nice job for your first go at it!

that's gorgeous.  i don't see the green...looks bronzey to me, which i really like.  i really like the sides, too.  i remember having a loom and making stuff but never really knowing what to do with it.  if i had a loom i would totally make a bracelet like this (bronzey...ha!).  in fact...i'm gonna go hunt ebay for a cheap one.

i love this place.
