Just when I was thinking I would have to start drinking a lot of soda just to get the cans, you noted one set was made from a cookie can.  Ahhh, now I have an actual reason to hold on to and obtain more decorative tins....  Thanks for the inspiration, and sharing your wonderful creations!

I know everybody has told you how great these are, but really, really...these are LOVELY.
I haven't had a chance to try it out, although I've been stock piling cans since I first saw this post a couple months ago.

First I just started out giving them away to anyone who asked for them. Then  friend ordered 15 for her wedding all in the same color of can I was just going to give them all to her and she forced me to take money  Undecided . Which is OK that just bought more supplies and drinks lol.  But to answear your question I am stock piling them. I'm trying to meet  a goal off 100 items before I show anyone else. I'm always looking for new unique can's weather they're old cookie tins, drink cans or any other type of can. The pin up cuff is probably my favorite thing ever and I can't find any more of those cans. I've heard a rumor of them being in Washington somewhere but haven't seen them. Makes me sad LOL.

what type and size of metal sheet are you using? Do you know of any online places to purchase it?
