Got my grocery bags today!  They are currently a house for blocks, and the cupcake has a mermaid action figure in it, LOL.

Thanks liebschien!  I knew this was MY package when I saw it!   Grin

Here is a pic that Pinokeeo took of me with my maple leaf when she kindly hand delivered it to me! Yes, notice my lovely work coat, work name badge, and in the background my work car! And, as a very high compliment to Pinokeeo's wood working skills, my mom thinks it's gorgeous! And she's pretty much indifferent to anything remotely crafty (unless I'm making a mess while doing something, then she goes from indifferent to hostile!)

Wow, I had pictured the leaf as being half that size...Or maybe maremare represents the Lollipop League and the leaf really isn't that big.  Smiley

Regardless of whether maremare is average-human or shrunken-human size in real life, the leaf is so impressive!

I'm living/working in Yosemite Nat'l Park til further notice! Blogging about it here. No swapping for me, and minimal crafting time, for the coming months. Almost done with library school! That sums things up for now.

I am adding pinokeeo to my must swap with list!!
That has been on my mind since I saw it.  I didn't think I had a change of coming close to winning it though - I was really torn - the placemats looked gorgeous - and they are oh my god they are fabulous but woodworking has always evaded me since I do have an unnatural fear of power tools - I do love wood.

Just awesome!
This has truly been an amazing gallery - yes, I know I must take pics today!!  As soon as the sun comes up I will be taking pictures!!

I am stepping out of my comfort zone a tad bit for the next round - I am really hoping to outdo myself completely next round!  I have an idea of what I want to do - it involves material, thread possibly little beads(haven't decided on that one yet!)

Funny, I'm the only one that thought it was about the size it really is? Lol I figured it was trivet sized...but I would NEVER set a hot pan on it!  I'm kind of scared of power tools too, I had to have my guy friends help me with certain ones in shop class in junior high. It didn't help that my dad was along the lines of "Tim the tool man Taylor" (he "adapted" a lawn mower and cut off some of his toes) and a guy I went to jr hi with cut off his thumb with a router.
