Here's the gallery - all set up for pictures of all the cool loot that we are going to try and steal from each other..
and lots of all in fun conversation about the goings on during the swap..

I have one thing to admit right about now... I wish I just called this swap Silly Swap.  That would have been loads cooler.  Too bad I can't go back in time and just change that!!!

Howdy! Here's my completed item for the white elephant swap. It's a large amigurumi bear made from the Mr. Funky pattern in the book Mr. Funky's Super Crochet Wonderful. It's large: about 10 1/2 inches standing and 9 inches seated. The arms and legs flop around and it's soooo huggable. And if you happen to not like stuffed things and end up with Mr. Bear, there's probably someone in your life who would adore it.

The colors in the photo are pretty close--sage green and white, with black eyes/nose--but I'll try to take a sharper photo tomorrow when it's daylight. I was just really excited to post a photo of it tonight.  Smiley

So when it comes to stealing time, steal Mr. Bear!  Grin

Here is my item:  a set of 4 matching place mats and napkins.

The place mats measure 18"x11.5" and the napkins are 12" square.  They are made of Amy Butler Scraps and unbleached muslin and the place mats have a bit of batting in between.  They all have 2 rows of light blue topstitching.  Machine washable.  I hope somebody likes them!

Here's what I'm offering.  I usually don't give early previews but hopefully people will think it's as cool as I do and more will join the swap!

You get:
Full length front and back apron with massive pockets
and two oven mitts with heat resistant lining

the inside is fully lined with red (in case Grandma comes over and you don't want to give her a heart attack!
