My husbands birthday present was late in the mail so I ransacked his old computer parts chest and borrowed his dremmel and made this.  It was the first time I ever used a dremmel. I think next time I will be able to make straighter lines.  I got blisters pulling all the little parts off though...

I used pliers to rip off all the "suff" on the card and I did get blisters so you might want to take it in stages.  I drilled a hole in the bottom and put a bolt through the bottom for a stand and a nut on the back to hold it.  I used the slim dremmel sanding disks for cutting.  I did not put any glass or plastic in the frame and I taped the picture in on the back.  I also had some dremmel sanding implement to sand off the sharp edges.

this is a really neat idea, my husband is actually a computer tech for the city we live in and his room (everyone use to laugh at this, we each have our own space. i can't work around his computer parts, they are literally every where, and he said he couldn't work around my crafts, beanie babies, and anime stuff) is full of old parts, he also has really old stuff at his moms. his birthday is a few weeks and i was trying to figure out what to do for him, ideas ideas  Wink
