Maybe not, but I need some!

Here they are:

Since they're the same, I don't need to show both, right?

Yarn:
1. Knit Picks Memories in Tropical
2. Rowan 4ply soft in aubergine
Needles:
1. Ribbing - US3 (3.25mm)
2. Body - US4 (3.5mm)

I've heard rumblings about not liking the fake seam stitch, but I tried it without and all the increasing for the thumb looked funky.  If you can make the pattern continue around, I'd get rid of the fake seam, but since the pattern stops at the fake seam it looks really weird w/o it.

I really like how they turned out with the varigated yarn!
Let me know what you think.

EDIT 8/27/08
I'm thinking of entering these in our local county fair.  Thoughts?
Judging criteria:
Workmanship - 40
Suitability of article to purpose - 20
Harmony of color & material - 20
Beauty & originality of design - 20
Total possible points = 100
I've worn them quite a bit so I'm guessing that I should wash and reblock them so they are pretty again, but otherwise I'm feeling cocky confident!

Those are beautiful!!!  I LOVE that you used variegated yarn, it looks great!

I'm psyching myself up to start knitting my very first pair of gloves in the next week.  Just have to get through the chunky hat/scarf combo I'm working on now...

The world can always use more endpaper mitts.  I have to say, this is the first pair that uses a variegated yarn that I actually like.  Great job!
