I am so excited about these...this is the first project using my sewing machine and "expensive" fabric  Grin (non-wally world fabric, that is...you know, good stuff!)

These are part of my cousin's birthday present - the other part is an apron which I plan on starting this week (needs to be done by Thanksgiving...but I'm not expecting it to take too long!) She turns 17 on Tuesday and loves cooking. *squee!!!*





Here is a close-up of the cupcake fabric...isn't it yummy?!

Thanks!! I must confess though, I've had my machine for almost a year...I'm just not afraid of it any more!  Wink
I used the tutorial posted on savvyseams.com - pretty easy to use, my only complaint is that the materials needed weren't posted at the beginning, so I had to run to the store in the middle of my first mitt to get the bias tape! Smiley
