After many many many prototypes this dress is finally done! Its inspired by the new Cloud Nine Bowl Blythe's dress. It was a bit of a pain but I think it has to be the cutest dress I've made!

Thanks for looking!

No they can't stand up on their own...unfortunately . She's standing up against a wall. They're just like barbies but with bigger heads.

CUTE CUTE!!! I have an Asian Butterfly, but, she doesn't look cute in stuff like that. Maybe after I reroot her with a happier hair color than she will. She is kind of gloomy. Yours is girly girl and she looks fab in her dress!!!!  Grin

The dress is just darling.  Now you've made me want to drop everything and go find a Blythe doll again (it happens periodically).  Can I get one in my size?  Grin

I love it!  I am looking forward to getting my first girl.. one of these days.
I am having problems deciding which one I really really want - besides Ashlette who is on backorder until January but worth the wait.

I won't beg for a tutorial but I sure would love to know how you made it!

You guys are GREAT for a girl's ego! haha thanks for the lovely comments!

I won't beg for a tutorial but I sure would love to know how you made it!

Basically the top is a rectangle piece and the bottom is a circle piece...all I used was my protractor, computer paper, and a ruler. It took A LOT of fudging and prototypes with muslin material but I eventually got there! Whenever I get some time (the semester is winding down fast!) I can put up some measurements or a pattern for you guys!
