Skull Isle-hat DONE!

I'm making the Skull Isle-hat from Son of Stitch 'n Bitch. I'm making it with different yarn, and larger needles...and different stitch count...and I'm leaving the whole chart a out of it..

I'm really pleased with it too.
I've always been a little afraid of fair isle..figured it was too hard for me. Actually had to re-do the hat a couple of times too. But once I got the hang of it, it was suprisingly easy!

The hat is done. (Has been since sunday night). I will post pictures as soon as a) I can find the cord that links my camera to my computer and b) I can find my glasses so I can take action shots. (I look better with my glasses on...even if you couldn't see my face in the pic )

I think looking at this has inspired me to make another hat.

I'm curious to see what the hat looks like on the inside.  Did you twist the yarn or did you leave long strands?

Awesome, I love the colours you have paired together!  This turned out really well.

Oh, and don't you hate looking for your glasses without your glasses?  When I was a little kid I thought a great invention would be to have little glasses to wear while you looked for your lost ones.  But then, when the thought occurred to me that you would need more and more glasses to look for each one as they got lost, it kind of blew my mind and I never really pursued it.
