I'm making the Skull Isle-hat from Son of Stitch 'n Bitch. I'm making it with different yarn, and larger needles...and different stitch count...and I'm leaving the whole chart a out of it..
But check it out, here it is in the making:

My first fair isle project ever!!!
I also wrote about it in here: http://torranceknits.blogspot.com/2007/11/im-genius.html

EDIT: Now it's done and photographed. Still don't have an action shot 'cos I have no idea where my glasses are..

I love it! I have never tried Fair Ilse (scared of the multiple colors in the same row), but your hat looks amazing!!! Thanks for sharing.

Fair Isle taunts me. I need to get over my fear, I suppose. Looks great!

Ohh- this is frickin awesome. I would love to sport a hat like that.
You're making it look so easy in those action shots.
I can't wait to see it complete.

^Thanks everyone!
I'm really pleased with it too.
I've always been a little afraid of fair isle..figured it was too hard for me. Actually had to re-do the hat a couple of times too. But once I got the hang of it, it was suprisingly easy!
