tampon holder with tutorial!

Can anyone tell me what the seam needs to be for the tampon compartments?  I don't want to make them too big or too small.

i just measured my tampons and sewed accordingly b/c all tampons are diff sizes so it depends on what brand you use.

I actually stuck the tampon in there and sewed around it- make sure not to sew it in the seam
