thought I'd add some of the instructions for all u ppl who wanna make 1
Bag:-
Using 8mm knitting needles , cast on 40 stitches.
Beginningg with a knit row work 14 rows in stocking stich (knit one , pearl one row)
Change to 10mm knitting needle and work a further 16 rows in stocking stitch.
Decrease row: Cast off 20 stitches, knit to end.
Nest Row: purl 2 together, purl to last 2 stitches, purl 2 together.
Next row: knit
Repeat last 2 rows until only 4 stitches remain.
Cast off.
Deside which side u would like to use as the right side .
Sew up the bottom and side seam.
Strap -
Using 8 mm knitting needles cast on 3 stitches.
knit 1 row
Slip the stitches from the right hand needle, onto the left hand needle, leaving the yarn at the end of the row (left hand side)
Next row : Bringing the yarn across the back of the stitches, pull the yarn quite tightly to knit the first stitch, knit 2.
Slipping the stitches from needle to needle after every row forms a cord.
continue knitting until cord measures 68 cm = 27 in
cast off
mmmmm then I felted the bag and the more the bag is in the machine the more it will felt which also makes it smaller.
ok now for the flower decoration :
Special abbrviation - make loop = insert needle into next stitch , wrap yarn over needle knit wise and then wrap over finger of left hand then over needle again, knit the stitch ( 2 loops formed on needle)
Slip the 2 loops back onto left hand pin and knit them together. gently pull loop to secure.
Using 8 mm cast on 41 stitches
1 row: Knit 1 , * make loop , knit 1 , repeate from * to end
2 row: knit
3 row : knit 2, *make loop , knit 1 , repeate from * to last stitch, knit 1.
4 row: knit 2, * knit 2 together, knit 2 , repeate from * to last 3 sts , knit 2 together , knit1 . -31 stitches
5 row: knit 1 , * make loop , knit 1 , repeate from * to end
6 row: knit 1 , * knit 2 together , repeate from * to end - 16 stitches
7 row : knit 1, * make loop, knit 1 , repeate from * to last stitch, knit 1.
8 row: * knit 2 together , repeate from * to end - 8 stitches
9 row: knit 2 together 4 times - 4 stitches
Cut yarn approx 30 cm = 12 in from the end and thread through the remaining stitches, gather up and fasten securely
Sew up seam
Finishing
then u add the magnatic clasp and stitch the flower decoration onto the fold over flap of bag <---- or u can choose whatever side u like
