I got a whole bunch of this fabric at Wal-Mart last year...as well as their policeman line. Black and whites, flashing red sirens, men in uniform...It's a good series.  Grin

My local still had some the last time I looked. So most of your should still be able to find it at your local Mart.

Hi Guys! I had to have this fabric so I ran to Walmart and got the last whole yard (why, oh why did I not take the extra little piece?!). I'm told they won't be reordering it. (We now have 4 Walmarts in the general area, 1 is older and the others are the new warehouse style - the new ones have NO fabric and very little in the way of craft supplies. fooey!! What's up with that?)
BTW, I plan to make a tote bag for my son's girlfriend. My son is attending fire academy conditioning right now.

May I ask what pattern you used? It's terrific!!

 Undecided well, I used a pattern piece I had with no instructions, but it was basically shaped like the JORDY mine was just one piece, although with this being a pattern (that wont work upside down) I suggest just using the JORDY tut. or you'll have to sew a bottom piece and side pieces anyway



you can cut the dimensions [[did I spell that right??]] to fit your needs

AlternaWidget, Nancy in the fabric dept. at our local walmart (we're on first-name basis since I'm in there so much) tells me that the plan is to phase out ALL craft/fabric and replace them with PARTY items like pinatas and __in a bag party sets. Hmph.  We live in the middle of nowhere with only high-end fabric and Hancock's in the next closest city. To find a JoAnns, we have to go TWO cities away. We're going to miss being able to pick up a yard or a spool or a zipper at Wal-Mart, I'm afraid.

To look on the bright side, I've scooped up some real deals at the one wally that is already closing out their fabric--$1.00/yd for everything I bought.

I know!! I saw the fleece before I found the cotton,
we got a HUGE panel for a blanket Im goin to work on with he rwhen I go to FL.
I love the vibrant colors.
