This vintage vest was had so much going for it, loved the colors and the pockets.  But, I couldn't see me wearing it, so I cut it up and came up with this tote!  The back and the handles are a very dark brown vegan leather.  (Found a great source for all this great vegan leather by my home - for cheap!)

OKay, that's kinda just really cute. And for some reason, the button strip just makes me smile. (And now I'm eyeballing this flannel shirt I bought my husband to paint in...that he never ever even unfolded, much less wore...)
