I am totally bummed that I missed this swap...AGAIN.

 Cry *cue violins*

I know the latest Postsecret Swap just closed. But maybe I, or anyone else who is interested, can think of way to put a twist on it. So, it's not the same.

First thought that jumped into my mind:
make two postcards. One has the beginning of your secret, and the other the other half.

You can either ship both postcards to the same person, or scatter them. In the gallery we can try to figure out which ones match up, but only the sender will really knows Wink
Plus I'm sure there'd be some funny false assumptions along the way XD

I don't know if anyone would be up for it, but it's certianly an idea Wink

Eg. Secret "Sometimes I'm never really sure if I'll ever..."
and on the other card "...Fall in love"
(p.s. just an example! I don't actually think this Wink )

I'd love to hear other twists though Cheesy

My idea, what about making 2 cards with "secrets" on them only one is a lie It would be fun to guess which is the real secret and which is the fake.

I think the half and half idea is good, it could be done with codes where the organizer could post which ones are pairs at the end (like you put not only a code to identify yourself on the back, but also one to identify which halves go together).

I'm really sad I missed the postsecret sign up as well, so I'd love to participate in this. I don't have any great 'twist' ideas though (i'm so uncreative on stuff like that). I think both of the above mentioned ideas are good though!

Yeah I'm bummed I missed it too. I'm just now in the middle of my first swap, so I couldn't sign up for it. My first swap will be done hopefully by the middle/end of december (sendouts are 11/26) so maybe I can jump on this swap train! I'll try to think of a twist idea too, even if I can't catch this, there is always round 2!
