Please.  I'm a beginner, although I've been a beginner for years.  For the life of me I can not read a pattern and make something happen.  I can learn well if someone will sit down and show me how to do something.  I hope this is okay to post here.  If not feel free to delete with my apologies.  I've just been looking at everything on here and want so badly to learn more.  Please oh please.  Thanks.

ETA:  This was originally posted on the crochet board by mistake.  Sorry.

I just recently tought myself, I mean I can't do too much just single, slip and a round is all I've attempted. But I find it helpfull to see it beeing done too, I learned from lionbrand website and from watching videos on you tube. There's also another site I was told about nexstitch.com that I haven't really gotten to check out much yet, but they have videos too. Also when I crochet in a round I found it helpful to mark my last stitch in the round with a paper clip slipped through it incase I lose count (which I tend to do alot!). Also Whe it says increase so many rounds or decrease, I count out and write down the number loops I have to do the extra stich to before I start.

Thank you so much for that.  I hadn't even thought about you tube videos.  We are working on getting the internet hooked up at the house (hard to find in the sticks) Roll Eyes So once we get that done I'll definitely look into it.  Can't see the boss being too happy about me crocheting when I should be working! lol

I would love to do a swap!

Where exactly are you at? I have a crochet group that gets together in Moore twice a month, I am not the best teacher, but there are plenty of other people that are.

I would love to do a swap!
