I finished my Minimalist Cardigan a few weeks ago and I love it.  It is now my go-to cardigan.

I used 3 + a little of a 4th skein of Cascade 220 Heathers in Garnet.  It took me about six weeks to finish, but I'm in the middle of my first semester of law school, so it took me a little longer than it would probably take a normal person with a normal life!

Somehow the sleeve-tops came out bigger than the sleeve-holes on the body, but I managed to seam them into puffed sleeves, and I really like the look.

And... more on my blog... http://castonacupcake.blogspot.com/

I love your minimalist cardigan.  The color looks great on you.  I was knitting it in Rowan Denim and I sort of lost interest.  I think I need to start knitting it again because yours looks great.

Hey Fiber People: I am very interested in personal swaps for painted/dyed roving or top. I can swap supplies or crafted items. Let's talk!

It looks great! I've been meaning to make this, but haven't found the time. Although, seeing the cardigan on a real person (not a model in a professional magazine shoot that is) has inspired to make time to knit this up.

I'm making this too!  I'm using Debbie Bliss Cashmerino.  I'm on my last sleeve and cannot wait to finish it.

If it makes you feel better,  its taking me even longer because I get bored and want to knit something else (i've made probably 6+ hats and whatnot in between  Grin)

Yours looks great!  I only hope mine looks that nicely put together.  Any tips when constructing it?

I had no experience seaming, so I used some hints in the back of the Interweave magazine.  I used a backstitch for most of the seams, since the moss stitch makes a pretty thick fabric.  I had a difficult time wrestling the sleeves into the armholes... and thus, the resulting poufs.

It's from the Fall 07 Interweave magazine... I'm not sure where to get backorders, but  you can probably check their website.

The cardigan looks great!

I'm in my first semester of law school too, so I totally understand how that eats into knitting time.  But the semester is almost over so then we'll have a whole wonderful month to knit and not think about law Smiley Good luck with exams!
