Ooh, I bet it feels absolutely delicious, made of Malabrigo.  Tasty...

BTW, I totally adore your blog.  It's the only knitting/craft blog I'll read.  Cheesy

really beautiful.  I like the raglan sleeves and prefer knitting that way.  I second the question:  how many stitches did you cast on (divided how) -- if you don't mind?  THANKS!

Wow. Thanks all!  Smiley

Okay, the cast-on numbers I can give, because I wrote those down and I don't think I changed them.

I cast on 44 sts total, divided as follows:
2 for front
8 for sleeve
24 for back
8 for sleeve
2 for front

but then over the next few inches, added an extra 20 sts to each front to make the curved neckline (4 sts gradually, then 16 at once). Note that my stitch counts don't match the pattern exactly, but they're close (for the smallest size).

And my gauge was about 17 sts over 4 inches.

I'm actually thisclose to springing for Malabrigo. Tell me, does it pill? If it does, how badly?

Well this is my first time using the merino worsted, so I can't answer from experience, but I've heard that it pills like a mofo. Angry Sooo I've just resolved to de-pill the damn thing as often as it needs it, because the yarn is gorgeous and so soft and hopefully worth the bother.

Thanks for the stitch information.  It helps to know what kind of ratio you used.  I'm trying to decide what my next project will be and this might be it.
