Jen, Oh man I received your blocks last night and they were just so wonderful!  I love the Slytherin and the fabric you used and the Gryffindor sword just literally made me cry tears of happy because it was so cool!  I will take pics and post tonight!

Ok I finished the other block to go out to Anna. I also finished an umbridge block. I am wondering before I go on is anyone on here a knitter? Thank you all for being so understanding with me. I had to go to the lqs yesterday and buy some different fabric to use because the fabric I had bought was disinegrating when cut. I made a point of buying the Joann's quilters fabric too! SO I went and bought some Robert Kauffman. Interestingly enough the fabric I bought is discontinued and when I brought it up to the front the clerk said oh lucky you it's going fast! I guess the reason it is being discontinued is because it is fabic- northern lights- that only Alaskans are ga-ga over. Who knew?
Also I received from Jen! I have no words for how beautiful the blocks are. Gorgeous lovely wonderful - I  know- excuisite! They are excuisite. I will post pics tomorrow hopefully. I won't even try to post pics right now with this silly wind storm outside. I am hoping at least this message goes through. - Briana

I can't tell you how happy I am that you "get" Gryffindor's sword!  That design was totally my hubby's idea and when I finished drawing it, he was just speechless.  Slytherin's locket had been tickling the back of my mind for some time and when we decided to do this swap, I just kept it under wraps!

I had so much fun choosing fabrics and making blocks for everyone!  Can't wait to make OUR quilt!

Yay, can't wait for our other two swappers to receive, too!

Definitely let me know when you get your blocks (as though you wouldn't!).  You know I can't wait for them to arrive.
