I'm in the middle of taking a 3d class at my art school and I have been waiting for the chance to incorporate crochet all year.  The assignment was to make a political piece.  I chose environment and use mostly only plastic bags to create this little bird.  He's about a foot tall. I also stuffed him with plastic bags and used green plastic bags as grass on his base.
Edit: okay, I'm changing the picture  to a much better documentation of the piece

thanks for looking!

Nice - my favourite use so far for plastic bag yarn.

Is it meant to be any specific type of bird? The beak shape in particular reminds me of a dodo.

thank you all so much.

It's not supposed to be any certain type of bird.. it kind of just ended up how it did by me just guessing how to make the shape of a bird in crochet.
